Commissioned by the National Oceans Office to assist in the process of Regional Marine Planning in the SouthEast Region of Australia, this work builds upon the research undertaken for the Marine Matters Atlas. Given that the Marine Matters case studies covered the South East Trawl and Oil and Gas industries, this study was undertaken to add a further dimension to the understanding of community impacts of different marine uses. The report deals with the qualitative research on tourism Fishing Charter Boat operations undertaken in St Helens, Tasmania. World economic growth is assumed to slow from 4.4% in 2004 to 3.6% in 2005. Widespread rainfall throughout most of the Australian grain belt in late August helped enhance the prospects for winter grains production. The value of farm exports is forecast to increase by 3.2% to around 26.9 million in 2004-05. The value of crop exports is forcast to increase. The value of livestock exports is forecast to fall slightly in 2004-05.
