There are mixed messages appearing in the media about recovery from Australia's worst drought. In May 2003, the Bureau of Meteorology announced that the El Nino event was over and in February 2004 ABARE announced that Australia's grain growers had produced one our largest ever crops. Yet recent media continues to discuss continuing uncertainty for producers recovering from drought. John and Tim will provide an update on the status of the drought and implications for rural and regional Australia
