Department of Agriculture Library Resource Centre
The Library Resource Centre supports the research and policy agendas of the Department. From our site on MyLink, you can access subscribed and free information on agriculture, biosecurity, climate change, economics, fisheries, food, forestry, management, natural resources, quarantine, veterinary science and much more.
We provide links to many full-text services, and access to sites for legislation, statistics, news, parliamentary information etc. Some links, such as e-journals, are included in the catalogue and are also accessible from an additional link.
Our services are available to all Departmental officers, including interstate/outposted staff, and we assist various partner organisations.

- Comprehensive suite of e-journals and print magazines
- document delivery
- inter-library loans (borrow or receive articles from libraries across Australia and around the world)
- purchasing (books, journal subscriptions, pdfs etc.)
- loans from the collection and access to archive of departmental publications
- professional assistance with finding the information you need
- catalogue on your desktop through MyLink
- weekly display of current print magazines (eg. Choice, The Economist, New Scientist)
- daily display of rural and selected city newspapers
- reading areas, including quiet spots for meeting or study (bring your laptop, coffee, lunch)
Certain services attract charges that will be cost recovered from your area.
